An active member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), Catherine is a past chair of both the B.C. Immigration Law Section and the National Immigration Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association.
She has held numerous positions within the CBA at the National and Provincial Levels, has participated in continuing legal education seminars, appeared before parliamentary committees on immigration issues and spoken at International Conferences and Symposiums.
Catherine is also registered as a Foreign Legal Consultant with the State Bar of California enabling her to better serve her American clientele in the film and television and high tech industries.
In December 2006, Catherine was appointed Queen's Counsel.
