Sas will present an objective view of Canada’s controversial immigration program at the Vancouver West Chapter of Probus.  Catherine will provide an overview of Canada’s current immigration program as well as provide some historical context over the past several decades. Given Canada’s current demographic projections, do we need high immigration levels?  What is the likely impact of sustained immigration on Canadian citizens and permanent residents?  How does the average Canadian assess Canada’s immigration program and what this means to the community at large in the coming years?
